Spice Hut Party Menu
Spice Hut introduces to Thorne an exclusive opportunity to sample the traditional Desi Handi' style of cooking. Desi Handi in traditional terms translates as 'home style cooking'.
Although Desi translates as Country or Homeland, mainly referring to countries in the Sub Continent which include India and Bangladesh.
Handi itself means a kind of large cooking pot. The term Handi is readily used to describe home style cooking, as these dishes are almost always used in South Asian homes for family cooking.
This unique particular style of cooking allows the use of a vast range of spices and to cook for larger numbers. However, the process is slow and time consuming, similar to cooking a casserole which is why the technique is not possible during normal business hours in a busy restaurant kitchen.
Spice Hut is pleased to announce that it is now ready to cater Desi Handi curries,
allowing you the customer the opportunity to sample a truly traditional variety of
mouth-
you can choose the ingredients you desire, the strength of the curries in terms of spice and the amount you would like in terms of numbers to cater for.
